DARWIN DAY

Humanistic Jews celebrate our humanist philosophy as well as our connection to Jewish heritage and the Jewish people. Darwin Day, celebrated in February around Charles Darwin’s birthday, is one of several modern holidays that reflect our connection to the wider secular humanistic world and our appreciation for scientific reason. Our celebration of Darwin is generally held as a Community Sunday event.
