This week will be the second of two sessions on Baruch Spinoza’s Theological-Political Treatise (Tractatus Politico-Theologicus), which examines Spinoza’s primary writing on religion, miracles, who wrote the Bible and how to read it, the ideal political order, and how to address the gaps between reason and religion.
