This week begins our discussion and learning on the biblical book of Job. We’ll spend at least two weeks studying Job, a layered and complicated book that is in equal parts traditional, skeptical, and a little nihilistic, and asks timely questions about suffering and whether there is merit in enduring through difficult times.
This week we’ll learn about the structure and literary nature of the book, and closely study selected passages to get a feel for what the book of Job is all about.
