Texts on Tuesday returns!

Given that this session falls on the last Tuesday of the month, Rabbi Jeremy will do a wrap-up of the Torah portions and haftarot for October.

Since the traditional Torah reading cycle restarted mid-month, we’ll focus on the first two portions of the year. We’ll spend time working through specific examples of multiple authors in the Torah and contradictions in the creation story and the myth of the flood, and look at some of the better-known traditional attempts to explain contradictions in the text.

If you can’t make the session, don’t worry — it will appear on Machar’s YouTube channel within a day or two of the class together with nearly 100 hours of other content for adults and for families with kids!
