Can you play an instrument, sing a song, tell a joke or story, recite a poem, or do some magic tricks?
Have you mastered the art and science of unfolding and setting up chairs and tables? And/or folding them back up again and putting them away?
Do you love to visit with friends and family and support their creative expressions in social situations?
The opportunities to share your talents for this event are abundant!
Please think about how you might like to participate in this year’s Coffeehouse.

We WILL be livestreaming the Machar coffeehouse!
However, the link will only be available to those who buy tickets, and you MUST INDICATE — by sending Tara Newhouse, our administrator, an email — that you want the livestream link.
(Unfortunately, although we are livestreaming the coffeehouse, we will be unable to accommodate remote performances; performers must appear in person. Also, due to copyright and other issues, the coffeehouse will not be recorded.)

Our location is in walking distance of the Silver Spring/Red Line metro and also has ample free parking nearby.
The intended audience will be teens and up; no child care will be provided.
