Why so many streaming Shabbat programs instead of Zoom-based ones? Because COVID-19 created so many delays for big events — even ones held outside — wedding season in the D.C. area didn’t really happen this past summer. Instead, it’s happening right now! Because Rabbi Jeremy officiates at interfaith and intercultural ceremonies, and because he will officiate weddings on Shabbat, he’s running from place to place this month and next making sure that people can get married with some of the Jewish traditions they love. As he is able, he will make sure we’re also doing Zoom-based Kabbalat Shabbat programs, too.
