Rabbi Jeremy Kridel – Essential to Judaism, or the Essence of Judaism?

Humanistic Judaism understands Judaism as the entire cultural expression of the Jewish people. Is that right? What do we need — what are the essential parts — that make Judaism what it is? And does Judaism have an essence that we could identify? What is Judaism, anyway?

You may notice on the registration page that the Zoom meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30am. This is so that the hosts and speakers can get on Zoom, sort out any glitches, and settle in before the presentation begins at 10am. The Adult Ed session itself officially begins at 10am and runs until 11:30am.
