Rabbi Jeremy Kridel – Esther and Other Oddities
Famously, the Book of Esther never mentions the God of the Bible. So why is it in the Bible at all? Who is the main character? Is it really such an outlier compared to other biblical stories? How did Esther confuse the timelines created by early Jewish historians? We’ll explore these issues and more!

You may notice on the registration page that the Zoom meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30am. This is so that the hosts and speakers can get on Zoom, sort out any glitches, and settle in before the presentation begins at 10am. The Adult Ed session itself officially begins at 10am and runs until 11:00am.
