Ukraine – Update, and Personal Takes on the War
A panel of current and past Machar members with direct ties to Ukraine will share thoughts on how the
war has affected them and their memories of childhoods in Ukraine. Also, Machar member and Adult
Education Committee Chair will provide an update on Russia’s war against Ukraine, the war’s impact
on the world, and prospects for peace.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
You may notice on the registration page that the Zoom meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30am. This is so that the hosts and speakers can get on Zoom, sort out any glitches, and settle in before the presentation begins at 10am. The Adult Ed session itself officially begins at 10am and runs until 11:30am.
