Get moving and learn some Hebrew! Aimed at kids, but good for anyone who just wants a chance to get up, move around, and learn some basic Hebrew. Hebrew Through Movement teaches Hebrew through speech, hearing, vision — and getting up and moving. Join Rabbi Jeremy after each JCS class to learn some Hebrew and shake off the cobwebs, or help the kids burn off some excess energy before lunch! Classes will last about a half-hour. Donald Cohen – Resisting the Privatizing and Plunder of Public Goods

Donald Cohen will speak about his co-authored book “The Privatization of Everything: How the Plunder of Public Goods Transformed America and How We Can Fight Back.” This trend threatens our democracy and weaken our ability to confront inequality, racism and climate change. Donald Cohen is the founder and executive director of In the Public Interest (ITPI,) a national research and policy center that studies public goods and services.  He has written for The New York Times, The Nation and other online and print outlets.

This is so that the hosts and speakers can get on Zoom, sort out any glitches, and settle in before the presentation begins at 10am. The Adult Ed session itself officially begins at 10am and runs until 11:30am.
