Sarah Levin – Religious Freedom: Sword or Shield?
Join us to discuss the Do No Harm Act, a bill introduced in Congress that would address the ever-expanding abuse of “religious freedom” claims to justify discrimination and denial of essential healthcare. Learn more about how religious freedom is being weaponized by the religious right, how we got here, and how you can take action.
Sarah Levin is Director of Strategy for Jews for a Secular Democracy, SHJ’s pluralistic initiative that is galvanizing the Jewish community to advocate for separation of church and state. She is the founder and principal of Secular Strategies, a consulting firm specializing in serving and advocating on behalf of the religiously unaffiliated, and worked for the Secular Coalition for America for six years in various roles.
