Cherie Brown – Taking on Antisemitism in a Politicized Environment

Incidents of antisemitism are on the rise and the Jewish community is divided over
definitions of what is and is not antisemitism.
Cherie Brown will lead discussion on why antisemitism is so confusing, determining when something is or isn’t antisemitic, healing from experiences with antisemitism, and gaining allies for taking on antisemitism, racism, and other forms of oppression.
Cherie is the Executive Director of the National Coalition Building Institute. She has led hundreds of workshops on antisemitism and heads a newly funded project on bridge-building in addressing antisemitism on college campuses.

This is so that the hosts and speakers can get on Zoom, sort out any glitches, and settle in before the presentation begins at 10am. The Adult Ed session itself officially begins at 10am and runs until 11:30am.
