Joelle Novey – Our Jewish Response to Climate Change

In this critical moment in the climate crisis, how are Jewish communities across our region
responding? How can communities like Machar advocate for the strong climate policies we
need at all levels of government, and lead the way by shifting our homes and buildings to
clean power? Joelle Novey, Director of Interfaith Power & Light will address these and
other questions. Ms. Novey works with numerous congregations across Maryland, DC, and
Northern Virginia to save energy, go green, and respond to climate change, and serves on
the advisory board of Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action.
