David Baron – The Environment, the Law, and Jewish Values

The earth and its people face profound environmental threats due to human-caused climate change, contamination of our air and water, widespread extinction of wildlife, and loss of natural areas. People of color and low-income communities often bear the brunt of dangerous pollution.  In discussing how the law and the courts play a vital role in attacking these problems, Machar member David Baron will offer observations from 40 years as an environmental litigator. David is Managing Attorney for the D.C. office of Earthjustice, a nonprofit national environmental law firm.
