Adult Education Hosts Machar Members’ “Lightning Talks”

On Sunday’s Adult Education inaugural “Lightning Talks” session, come hear several of your fellow Machar members give shorter talks about their lives and interests:

• • Harry Appelman will discuss his life as a professional jazz musician
  • Monica Zamisch will explore the story of her grandparent’s harrowing escape from Nazi occupied Europe to Uruguay in the 1940s
  • David Abramson will speak to the threat that Russia poses to the US as well as how David came to focus on Russia
  • Matthew Miller will present interesting facts of Jewish geography
